Repeating the same mistake I made yesterday. Values are too close together. But I like it. There is actually a bit more warmth in the foreground, couldn’t get the scan quite right.

I am going to call this a sketch because it is tiny. I didn’t start painting until after ten pm. And the first try failed. Now I have a cheerful piece of scrap paper to use for …something.
Almost flubbed this one too. I went in with pen. TOO much pen. On the petals. I had to cover that up with yellow acrylic. The background also has a flesh toned acrylic, with pink and rust watercolor just because.
Had the idea to draw designs on the vase with white pen, but it’s too late to take any more chances. 30 minutes to midnight. Hey that could have been my title. But then the title would have been bigger than the sketch.

Debate about posting. Post it anyway.
Too messy. But I kinda like it.
