Struggled with these abstracts in the beginning. In fact I posted a couple of them. They were not feeling right to me. So I painted over them with a warm sand color. That made all the difference.

The next session went more smoothly.  I had five pieces that I was happy with. Only minor tweaks and adjustments needed, if any. This was the first one I completed, and I was happy with it.  I still feel it is one of the best. The success of this canvas helped me work through the problem solving on the others. I actually put my hands in the air and did a little happy dance.

Color has everything to do with why I like this. Different application, another pour. Softer hues. I love intense color, bold, highly pigmented. This is a breath of fresh air.  Very welcome at the end of this hectic month. Another lucky creation. A blessing!

Sometimes it’s O.K. if the only thing
you did today was breathe.

So happy with this. I poured the paint onto the paper. Started with light colors and layered for darker tones.  Showing it upside down from how I created it. I love the organic feel, the soft colors. Got lucky with this. Whew!
