Behind and Beginning again. Thank you Dotty! Not behind. Start where you are. OK then! In #54 purple showed up on accident. A nice surprise from the Neocolor crayon. Last night the sunset played the same trick on me, and Mingus had hints of purple. The front range was blazing orange .

Insanely behind now. I was gone a full week. Crazy busy. And the first days home were recovery and rest. I need more of that. I didn’t even have the energy to unpack, until day three.
To be honest, I am not sure I have the energy to paint. But I want to. I want to paint flowers, and cacti, and odd desert plants. And Mingus.
I have cut the paper to size. Quite a stack sitting ready. Tomorrow I will begin. Again.

Good News! Pete is finally home. He will have physical therapy for a couple of weeks, but that is outpatient thank goodness. He is getting stronger each day. He is still having a hard time sleeping, but managed to get five hours last night.
I am late in posting this, but here is my last LYA side swap. These lovely blooms are from Evelyn Short. The image was in a juried show at the Philadelphia Sketch club last year. So delicate and feminine!
