Forgot I had this to post. Or maybe I wanted to forget it. Ha. Not one of my favorites. I am still in catch up/get ahead mode. And on this, you can easily see it is affecting my work.

The sky saved it. Not great, but interesting. I tried to include a treeline. NOT my best attempt. You can see I even tried to cover the offensive area with some pastel. DOPE! Going for a little touch of abstract there, did not work. Ha ha ha.

Big Blue is interesting, and the front range, not so bad. I like the mix of colors on this one. Might be a tad too girly, but I had fun with it.

Thinking that I had nothing to post, I rushed late night to paint. All I could manage time wise was two tiny ATC’s. I intended to go back and “fix these”. But that didn’t happen. So here are two, wonky Mingi.

Mingus is poorly shaped, and I would have added pen or paint to shape the front range.

I tried to do clouds, but it wasn’t working. Maybe I can wet it, and lift some color. Hmm.

Fun Finds

Keep meaning to share these. Ms. Clean strikes again. Dollar Tree loot. These clear envelopes are great for art supplies.

Out of sight, out of mind definitely is true for me. If I can’t see it, I forget I have it. The large envelopes, you get two to a pack. They have a three-hole tab so you can use them in a binder. The small envelope has two pockets. Great for collage papers and small bits!

While in Phoenix this past month, I made a visit to Hobby Lobby. There is a HUGE one in Chandler. I always check out the clearance section, and this time I scored big time. I found two awesome books for about 75% Off!
