When I opened my eyes this morning, I told myself ” there will be something good in your inbox today.” Spoonflower has selected my design to featured on one of their “shop lists”. Each list features 100 designs. You can see the “Latest Favorites” list. (It may be for today only.)
I designed this over a year ago, for Spoonflower’s theme contest, “Bells”. It is still one of my personal favorites. (Larger Image here.) Click on Quick view, and you will be able to scroll over the art, and zoom in.
Hmm, I think I am still working on this. Now that I have it scanned in, It needs something more. A star? Some bows or lights? I may just crop it in an oval shape. I also did this little wreath, I liked it so much, I have it taped to the top of my monitor. Happy Holidays!
Happy Holiday! Happy Holiday!
While the merry bells keep ringing,
May your every wish come true.
This song came on as I started to post. I love Christmas music. Just puts me in a happy place. I know a lot of people get tired of it, but I do not. I love the classics, Nat King Cole, Dan Martin, Andy Williams, Doris Day. And new classics like Gosh Grobin, Harry Connick Jr., Michael Bublé, Martina McBride, Mercy Me. Casting Crowns, Third Day.There are just too many to mention.
I was in choir in school, and choral music takes me back to those happy times, performing with my friends. I was too shy to get up and sing by myself, but with friends on the left and right… it was easier. A bunch of us even went to state competition and brought home some medals. I am sure that is part of why I enjoy seasonal music so much. Somewhere in the back of my head is that memory, and feeling of accomplishment.
This is a quick artist trading card I did as part of Sea Deans Gift and Decorations Art Party. You can share your art as well. The more the merrier!
I hope you are enjoying the spirit of the season!
For some reason I can not get this to work, but here is Kelly Clarkson singing O Holy night. I think she knocked it out of the park.
