Whoa! Am I behind in sharing! I have 3 posts in the works. But I have been struggling to keep up with the 30 day challenge. Busy days, and very little time to sit and paint. Staying up late has not been the solution it usually is. I have painted just about as many horrible abstracts, as you see paintings here. Working in pairs or threes, hoping for at least one good something to post for the day. Still ticking, though. 😉
Here they are. The month so far. All a combination of watercolor, digital collage, poetry, or music. Patterns, and sometimes pen. Below are close ups. You may still have to zoom in to see finer details. You can see them individually on Instagram.
Thanks so much for visiting!
SHEILA! WHOA! You have used a combination of watercolor, digital collage, poetry, music, patterns, pen, and pencil to TERRIFIC effect. With so many of these pieces, it was the ones for which you chose to provide detail close-ups that compellingly drew my eye. And, as ever, I take great delight and seeking and seeing your artistic incorporation of your signature. Have you signed the sunflower??—I can’t find your initials there …
Thank you, Dotty. 🙂 Yes, it was signed, but cropped off in the close up, it was on the bottom petal.
Happy creating to you. I hope that heavy flooding was not in your area. :)🙏🙏
I love your creative direction for this month’s gathering, lots of different patterns, colors, techniques…all a pleasure to experience! Bravo Sheila!
Thanks so much, Laurelle. 🙂 I sure do miss you in the group!
Thinking of you and sending 🤗🤗🤗
I absolutely love all of your designs!!! They are so cheerful!!
So nice to hear, Donna. Thank you 🙂
So much happening in all of your work so far this month! Looking at them all together I am surprised that my favourite one is the yellow sunflower – me and yellow how strange!! I am looking forward to seeing what else you do .
Haha! That is a surprise, Val! That one was the most work. And also a lot of fun.
I’m so happy to have you with us in the group, and I am loving your quilled initials. So detailed,
and so fun. 🙂
