I’m showing two weeks of paintings here. I’ve had technical difficulties with my site. Basically I have used up all of my allotted space on the server. Which means I am unable to upload new images. Not good for an art blog.
So here they are. Slightly out of order I think. Most are 4 x 4’s. I have also done 4 x 6 and the last several days I have been using 5 x 5’s.
Everybody born comes from the Creator trailing wisps of glory. We come from the Creator with creativity. I think that each one of us is born with creativity. Maya Angelou
I feel so guilty with you plugging away and me making next to no art. I have no favourites, they are all Sheila’s children and each is therefore pretty special, just like their creator.
Seeing your wonderful, focused and consistent watercolours you’ve finally inspired me to revisit watercolour for my 30 day theme. I have no idea where I’ll be by then and WC is so easy to travel with.
I decided to move into my little ocean view place for the summer. I drive up the coast to help my 89 year old friend every other day and the other days I just veg. and watch the ever changing picture show outside. Boats, cruise ships, barges, sea birds, eagles, otters, killer whales, kayaks, SUPs, and of course the drifting clouds, ocean currents and changing light. I have thousands of images of my ocean view mountains so lots of inspiration.
You’re right, ACK ack! But as always it will be easier than we imagine and full of joy!
You are too kind, Sea. Thank you for such wonderful compliments. Blushing. 🙂
I am so stoked that you will be joining in once again! Woo Whoo! I can’t wait to see your watercolors.
I thin I am going to do mixed media. But you know my plans often go sideways. Haha.
Your view and inspiration sound Amazing!
I was watching abstract landscapes in watercolor last weekend, that is another idea I am kicking around.
You are right, it will be fun, and pass more quickly than we want it to. Haha. 🙂
See you there, Sea!
Sheila! Thank you for this gallery of glorious painting!
Day 20: a compelling magical blend of bold and soft, made particularly striking by the way the blossoms bleed off the page in their larger-than-life impact.
Day 13: a very appealingly whimsical juxtaposition of sea and desert; I take delight in the way the succulent plant becomes fronds of undulating seaweed : )
Beautiful composition of sunflowers greets me this morning! And wonderful work this month, a delight to see you return to your “roots,” painting these watercolors! As to server space, I know there’s lots on the internet about how to free up space. It’s amazing how much we fill without realizing it and with items that are not needed. It takes a bit of time, but it’s not difficult and you need to do it. Or you could take it to your local computer guy and he’ll do it even better! xoxo Also for some reason every time I comment I have to refill in all my data even though I check to save my name;)
So glad you enjoyed them, Laurelle. And I am sorry to hear that is happening to you.
I’ll see what I can do about it. It happens to me as well, on several sites. I click save every time, but it never does.
Thanks for letting me know. 🙂 Have an awesome weekend! xoxo

Day 20 and 13 are my favorites. 🙂
So glad you like them Teresa. They are my favorites too.
Stay cool! 🙂
You have been busy. Too bad about your site – I hope you can get the problem solved. I really like the snake plant one with the fish vase – too cute.
Than you, Val. So glad you like it.
I hope so to. My least favorite thing to do. Deal with tech issues.
Happy season to you! 🙂

Thanks so much for sharing your impressions with me. Happy creating to you 🙂
