This week’s challenge is a collaboration between Spoonflower and East Fork pottery. We were given a limited palette using their new offerings. Piglet and Butter.
Looking through their site, I fell for their small mug. And the design was born.
🎵 Just around a corner there is a rainbow the sky
so let’s have another cup of coffee
and let’s have another piece of pie. 🎵
Voting is open until the 4th. Thanks so much for taking a look. 🙂
Italian Sherbert placed at 1020 of 1291 entries with 15 votes. You can see the top 63, here. So thankful for your votes! Thank you Everyone! Have an awesome weekend! 🙂
I really like your design very good design.
Thanks so much Lana. I am so glad to see you designing again. 🙂
Happy creating my friend! 🙂
I really like the colors in the check. An unusual combination of pale, yellow and pale pink. It feels very springlike.
Thank you, Sea. I really like the check too. 🙂
I hope you are starting to feel springlike in your neck of the woods.
Still feels a few weeks away here. But it is supposed to warm up soon.
Fingers crossed. 🙂
I have to say that I think this is one of the most boring Spoonflower challenges I have seen. The colours really don’t pop and most of the designs had me scratching my head – hello! a rooster??? I think your design is one of the more intelligent ones and I hope you do well in voting.
Haha! You and me both, Val. I just read that there are changes coming to the challenges.
One of them is that they will be checking to verify that the design meets the requirements.
This should discourage quite a few from posting silly, non repeating designs to the challenge page.
I agree about the palette. The colors look very nice on the pottery pieces. On fabric, I think they need more contrast.
I am not fond of limited palette contests in general.
Thanks so much for taking the time to vote, Val! I appreciate it. It will be getting easier in the coming month. 🙂
Happy Spring to you! 🙂
