We’ve reached the half way mark. It’s official. It’s all downhill from here. Haha. As fast as these first fifteen days half passed, the next fifteen will do double time. I am going to enjoy them while I can.
I’m so glad to have you join my artistic journey. Thank you. I love painting wildflowers. Pure play. I love watching the blues and greens mix on the paper. And you KNOW I love to splatter paint. Haha. Enjoy!
The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be. Anne frank
Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved. Helen Keller
Your painting of wildflowers is beautiful! A pleasure for the eye and senses. The words of Anne Frank really struck me this morning as I read them. I had just watched a Netflix movie about her and her best friend; so she has been on my mind. Now to read these wise words from such a young woman, realising the suffering she endured, I think how tragic and hard this life is. Then the second quote by Keller followed that reminds us that it is through our hardships and suffering that we can truly experience that which is beautiful and joyful. Thank you for this poignant post, Sheila.
Thank you so much Laurelle. I am so glad their words found you at the right time. 🙂 I always find that so interesting. Happens to me with other artists.
They both spoke to me that day.
Happy prepping and painting, my friend. I am so excited for you 🙂
