Lovely to see your postcard paintings, especially enjoy the almost watermelon color on the tables and the cheery yellow flowers. “Congregation” is terrific, how appropriately titled. Interesting the effect a title can have. Some say it has no real significance, but I’ve always believed it adds to the piece. I dislike so when people simply number their works. Have a wonderful, safe, and healthy holiday, my dear Sheila! Love you a whole bunch!
I have to get better at titles, I think they add to the piece as well. ;o)
I was tempted to go over the table, to deepen the colors. But I really liked
the messy way they dried. ;o)
Awww, right back at ya’ Dear Laurelle! I hope your holiday is WONDERFUL and ABUNDANT!
And I pray you stay safe and healthy all season long! ;o)
Sheila, thank you for plunking that stately indigo vase with its plethora of bright blossoms onto a rich burgundy tablecloth to decorate for Thanksgiving! It speaks to me of tradition and roasting food and gathering—even if the flowers are the only ones who don’t have restrictions on their gathering : )
Happy Thanksgiving–almost two months later. LOL!
Haha, hope yours was great too Chandra! Time is slipping, slipping… into the future. Haha. 🙂

Glad you like it, Val. I thought I maybe went a bit too dark. But you gotta love that green gold. Always brightens things. 🙂

Well at least there we can still set the restrictions on the second slice of pie… or not. ;o)
