“How right it is to love flowers
and the greenery of pines
and ivy and hawthorn hedges;
they have been with us from the very beginning.”

A charming painting Sheila. It makes me think of a wild flower garden – not much care but wonderful blooms.
So glad you enjoyed it Val 🙂
Lovely quote and art work
Hi Christine 🙂 So glad you enjoyed it 🙂
This one has a special sweetness about it, Sheila. Sooo you!!
Hahahaha. Thank you, Katie 🙂
These are feeling pretty sunny
I am glad you think so Nelvia 🙂 I did something different with the sky and forgot to leave enough room for the blooms. So I have yellow flowers on blue sky. And you know what yellow and blue make. LOL 🙂
SO much light and life and joy captured here, Sheila. Strong foreground/background energy here that I find compelling, and I love the whimsical touch of ‘confetti,’
Confetti, I love that Dotty 🙂 When I am nearly finished, I feel like I need to break up the strong lines. And the “busy” of the splatter is very organic. I think of images I have seen where grasses or wheat fields are backlit, and you can see all the flying critters going about their business. 🙂
I really like just about all flowers, but daffodils are the first blooms of spring and harbingers of the warmth to come. This really captures the joy I get every spring when they start popping.
Lovely thought Dave 🙂
