Watercolor with white Posca pen. Don’t know why I have never thought of it before. I often leave the white paper showing around the blooms. But I use a black pen to define. Hmm. It’s growing on me.
I will post my last day tomorrow, along with my collage of the 30 daily paintings. Family is coming into town and I will be MIA (in the group) the first week of the month. I’ll check in when I can. I’m looking forward to seeing your collages!
A nice effect with the white pen – it makes it brighter than the black would. Nice work Sheila!
Thank you Val 🙂
just back in the door from 8 days in the pacific northwest
the warm colors, white outlining, and bright blooms make for a lovely welcome home for me : )
Welcome Home Dotty! 🙂 Sounds like a wonderful trip 🙂
Love the effect of the Posca pen, Sheila. It gives it a pop that maybe leaving just the whiteness of the paper would not. Gorgeous fusions of colors throughout composition!
Take it easy with so much going on this weekend. You’re still healing and this has been quite a month. Big hug!
So glad you like it Laurelle 🙂 I worked ahead to leave a reast day before I am busy again. 🙂 Thanks for thinking of me 🙂
