This botched bunny was the first number one.
It’s possible I can save this. I used granulating medium on the background and planned on adding more layers there. The foreground area was very pretty before it dried. The colors faded more than usual. When these areas bombed I did not go back to finish the rabbit. I can see a second attempt in my head, ideas are percolating.
Hi Sheila!Your flowers are nice, the attentive bunny is also very good!
So glad you like them Eva, thanks for stopping by 🙂 Have fun painting today 🙂
I was wondering about you – and about Leslie’s challenge. You’re off on a good start. Love the tiny paintings of bouquets!
I’m on a different challenge myself. 21 days of sketching. 🙂
Your sketches are wonderful Corinne. I am well, thank you for thinking of me 🙂 Super busy and I don’t think it will let up because the holidays are right around the corner. Seriously, how can that be? LOL 🙂 Happy sketching to you!!
🙂 Happy art making to you too!
😉 Thanks!
I like them all! Great line work and those vases have some wonderful shapes. As for the bunny – I like the bunny – he/she is a lovely mono-chromatic study with that touch of ‘pink’ in his ear.
Thanks Janet ? That will save him from the round file. hahaha
Good luck with the 30/30 challenge, Sheila! Looking good so far. 🙂
Thanks Katie for stopping by 😉 Love your new blog, best of luck with it all!!
Flowers! – why am I not surprised – lol. I like the bunny piece!
Oh you knew there would be flowers 😉 I’ve missed them, ha ha!
So happy to see you back ! Love your paintings and the rabbit is so cute!
Thank you Martine 😉 So happy to see your flowers in the 30 🙂
Ok you got me pumped so just signed up again to show some of the things I have done and do a little daily just for this, maybe ATCs again.
Ha ha ha, YAY! Awesome Nelvia! Happy creating!!
And she is off and hopping, I mean, running. Great start to your event. After 100days of Mingus this will be a breeze. What is granulating medium?
Ha ha ha a breeze, you bet Nelvia ;o) I tried to find a definition. It causes a reaction with the paint. I think it separates the pigment from the binder. It’s fun to watch it work though 😉
one—sweet wall texture,
two—vase with small waist, big hips,
three—sunny spirals
: )
Love that Dotty, small waist! Ha ha ha Happy JOYful creating to you Dotty!
Welcome back to the 30 in 30. Love your vases of flowers, Sheilah!
Thanks Sharon 🙂 You are off to a fabulous start!
All three great! Great composition and those scribbles and line work! Especially #2.
Thanks Carol 🙂 Scribbles are so fun to do aren’t they.
I was waiting for you to appear. This challenge is not the same if you’re not here. Love the cute little bunny. Maybe he just needs a bit of color in his background. You’re bouquets always are joy-full!
Aww thanks for that Laurelle 🙂 I agree, a little more color would help. Glad you like the flowers. Have fun today painting 😉
