Happy Sunny Monday ya’ll!
Have I mentioned how much I love my new palette. OK, I think this is the third time, but I swear, it will be the last. I keep hearing “Oklahoma” in my head. There is so mush wide open space to mix paint! I still love the sketchers box, won’t be giving that up. Feeling grateful!

Quite a palette… Your vases are always enchanting!
Thank you Carol 🙂
Beautiful
Thank you Christine 😉
Pleasant to the eye!
So glad you like it Eva 🙂
A charming painting this time Sheila and surprisingly soft toned for yellow. Well done! BTW how do you keep your palette so clean – mine is a mess – lol
The background is a mix of Turner Naples yellow, and Jaune b. red. The blooms are W&N cad yellow mellowed with W&N yellow ochre. Cad yellow is sometimes hard to get a good scan of. So glad I was right, and the yellow ochre helped :)The table is yellow ochre and a mix of cerulean and Naples yellow to make the green. Ha ha ha, yup. A whole lotta yellow.
I have not used all of the colors yet Val, so maybe that is why. I wiped it up after this, as I noticed the cerulean/turquoise and the Bordeaux are staining colors. I am sure I can get it to clean up. But I think I will start using the clear try to mix those colors. The stains are not so deep that they will throw off mixing new colors. 🙂
