This range is part of Mingus. Just south. You can see this from just about everywhere in town. I just love the crags and crevices. Are they crags in America? Or is that a British thing? OK, too many period pieces for me. OK, confession time. I painted…

#WorldWatercolorMonth Continues
I have kept up with the #WorldWatercolorMonth daily painting. I'm just behind on posting. I've gone to painting two pieces on one 5.5 x 8 sheet of paper. I will still be two short, and for those I will use the backside of earlier days.…

We have a theme here. My first thought before I read the other comments was this makes me feel happy. Is it the random dots, the full frontal flower or the color combination? It’s a mystery. But what I do know is that any artist that knows how to spread sunshine is a master.

Bright and summery – happy Saturday!
Happy day to you Val
Good morning, Sheila sunshine!
Good Morning Dazzling Dotty
Apologies for my tendency to anthropomorphise, but your lovely flower is not a single stem in a vase for me but a cheerful being that is saying hello to the world and all excited about what the new day brings…have I lost it completely? Adore your flowers!
No, you haven’t Laurelle. Maybe you have just seen too many Disney movies, LOL
And that’s not a bad thing. Ha ha ha.
Don’t ever stop

This is a take on a silk flower I have in a bud vase. Clearly non-living, but each time I see her, it, I just know she is ready for a fabulous luncheon, or brunch. A party. Oh, and did I mention she has an English accent? LOL.
See, if you had never told me your story, I would never have mentioned mine
Enjoy Laurelle
