All caught up. Two WIP’s still on the table. Mixed media. Lot’s of layers.  Sea Dean gave me the idea. A series of views from different times of the day. Two sunsets, a moon rise and a sunny afternoon. Color studies really.

These four are tiny. Really cute. It probably would have been smart to do tiny for the entire project. Larger will enable me to try new things.

On to number ten!

Oh cool to see these four. Isn’t it great that you’re getting to do some color samples and experiments while doing this 100day project – all at the same time? You make me want to think up a new series as well – and as this is my faces year, it probably would be watercolor faces… 🙂

Simple shapes and different colors make these mountains something very special. Each has it’s own mood! I favor toward # 9 love the green and orange and that mass of clouds!

Oh my, no I don’t. If you need a larger image let me know. Mine are saved for the web, but some sites compress even more so the images are not clear. Curious now 😉

Sheila, your Mingus mélange is such fun! I loved scrolling down through these four with great anticipation, wondering what mood the mountains would be in from frame to frame. Day #9 has such magnificent drama—I really like the counterpoint of the mountains against the clouds; the mountains seem so solid and steady-Eddy, the clouds so ephemeral and changeable.

Love that Dotty 😉 So glad you like them. They were fun to do. And again, I forgot to post the photos that inspired them.
Had fun with the clouds, and with the moon. I like it even though it is wonky 😉
