All caught up. Two WIP’s still on the table. Mixed media. Lot’s of layers. Sea Dean gave me the idea. A series of views from different times of the day. Two sunsets, a moon rise and a sunny afternoon. Color studies really.
These four are tiny. Really cute. It probably would have been smart to do tiny for the entire project. Larger will enable me to try new things.
On to number ten!

Oh cool to see these four. Isn’t it great that you’re getting to do some color samples and experiments while doing this 100day project – all at the same time? You make me want to think up a new series as well – and as this is my faces year, it probably would be watercolor faces… 🙂
OH YES! Do that Corinne. That would be fun, for me as a viewer, LOL. hahaha 🙂 It is fun, and I will do more of those small ones.
Simple shapes and different colors make these mountains something very special. Each has it’s own mood! I favor toward # 9 love the green and orange and that mass of clouds!
I love that one as well Carol 😉 So glad you like them 😉
Surprise tomorrow. I hope you don’t mind me nabbing one of your images for a blog post.
Oh my, no I don’t. If you need a larger image let me know. Mine are saved for the web, but some sites compress even more so the images are not clear. Curious now 😉
Love 7 and 9. Keep it up girl!
Cool, thanks Sea ;o)
I adore your progressive art, Sheila!!! Time and perspective make a world of difference on and off paper 😉 Thank you for inspiring me, sweet friend! Happy Spring and many hugs!
Too true Trang 🙂 Thank YOU Trang for visiting 😉 Happy Spring and hugs right back xoxo
Sheila, your Mingus mélange is such fun! I loved scrolling down through these four with great anticipation, wondering what mood the mountains would be in from frame to frame. Day #9 has such magnificent drama—I really like the counterpoint of the mountains against the clouds; the mountains seem so solid and steady-Eddy, the clouds so ephemeral and changeable.
Love that Dotty 😉 So glad you like them. They were fun to do. And again, I forgot to post the photos that inspired them.
Had fun with the clouds, and with the moon. I like it even though it is wonky 😉
I like them all Sheila but especially the last one with the clouds. Next you will be doing ATC’S – can’t get much smaller than those – lol.
You’re teasing, but I saw a video with teeny paintings, and they look fabulous, and fun. (And they are smaller than ATC’s, LOL) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-u5m3KrMMAU
