Always good to hear from you Carol. And I am so glad you like this one. I think it will be one of my favorites overall 😉 You made my day 🙂 I am behind on blog visits as well, and email, and Mingus. LOL. 😉
I’m back from my trip and can now comment more regularly on the consistently lovely art you have been creating for the 100-day challenge. You rendered the clouds and sky in this particular one so well. One can feel the sunny day! I like Dottie’s word of “spaciousness” here to describe the foreground landscape.
Thanks so much Val 🙂 I have so many photos, so many different “views” of the mountain. I am relieved to know I have not repeated myself t his month 😉 LOL 🙂
Love the tremendous spaciousness you’ve created/conveyed here, Sheila. The clean absence of detail and of any close-up foreground makes the vastness of the universe palpably close at hand. Even mountains seem small relative to the firmaments. Really like this piece.
Sorry I am so behind in looking at your beautiful work. It never ceases to amaze me! Love the cleanness and simplicity in this view!

Welcome back Laurelle, hope it was an awesome trip 🙂 So glad you like the painting 🙂 One of my favorites so far.
Every single painting you do of Mingus is different – that takes talent! Well done Sheila!

So lovely, and so kind of you Dotty. Thank you for letting me see Mingus through your eyes once again 🙂
Oooohhhh, this is indeed a happy Chef d’œuvre from your beautiful heart, Sheila! Mingus on!???
Ha ha ha ha, I love that Trang! Thank you, and Yes, I will Mingus on my friend 🙂
