Maybe I will fix this later. Or maybe I won’t. Maybe I can just crop the goofy flower on the left, and call it done. Not completely happy with this, but the colors are just too pretty for the round file.
Do you remember these first layers? Acrylics, stamps and texture sheets.
I love the first two layers just the way they are. Great patterns. You know Matisse used to keep each layer, duplicate it and move on. That was before the digital world. He must have had huge art files when he died.
WOW! I guess!! I did not know that Sea. Can you imagine!! I liked those layers too. 😉
what fun. love the colors. the texture of the first layers are so cool. a work of art on their own. I hope your birthday was a smashing success.
Thank you Christine 😉 And thanks so much for your wonderful postcard. It was a good day all around!
I almost never throw things in the round file – you never know when the light-bulb will go off and you get and idea to ‘fix’ a piece. I would never have seen the original background if you hadn’t posted them again. Have fun Sheila!
Thank you Val 😉 I hang on them for a long time usually. Unless I am really they can’t be saved. LOL
I like your backgrounds looks like fun working with them. Maybe you work, could have been smaller, so the flowers have more space. I would love for you to do some you tube videos showing how.
WOW, thank you Lana. I would love to do some videos. Something new to learn 😉 I was thinking at the start, to do all flowers along the top, but then the two blooms happened. But you are right, they could use more space 😉
Wow, so glad you reposted earlier layers. Never gets old, seeing the process. Don’t crop the ‘goofy’ flower—if anything, take its goofiness as an invitation to go goofier! I continue to love your experimentation here. “Blooms or Bust” has me wondering who threw the pot on her wheel, who tended the garden from which the flowers were plucked, who decided to change the wallpaper in which the flower arrangement was set …
Ha ha, Love the image you have created Dotty! And thanks for you vote of confidence. Sending prayers your way, 😉
