Had fun with this. So much, that I didn’t even think about the fact that I cut the painting in half. I was going to add more vines. The colors refused to scan right. The background colors do get lighter, but not white. There are three blues in the background, but the difference isn’t visible here. The swirly blooms are a mix of a flesh color, and a very soft pink. They are warmer than they look.
Just a bit of fun.
I worked a bit more on Day 25 as well. I went over the white lines, I think it helped a bit. Added pen as well.

Love these – the colours, the flowers (of course!) – they make me happy!
Happy is a great compliment Janet 🙂 So glad you enjoyed them.
Really fun…paintings that just make you happy… Love them!
Thank you Karin 😉
the white lines and the pen helped. it is great. you are having such fun. I like these: bright, light and cheery.
Thank you Christine 🙂 It did sort of feel like coloring in a coloring book 😉
you know what I see in both of these? Kitchen and bathhroom tile patterns. I saw. someone on TV making them with a hot press, so easy to make.
Oh that would be fun Sea 🙂
These are so much fun – bright and cheerful and summerish! I like the changes for yesterday’s piece and today’s is super just as it is. Well done Sheila
Thank you Val 🙂 Still feels like summer here, but the mornings are colder. Have fun today Val 🙂
I love this new style! Soft and yet spicy! You really have varied your paintings this month!
Day 25… I still like the older version, but the new has a special POP!
Soft and spicy, love that Carol, thank you 😉 I wasn’t sure if the changes were improvements. Great thing is I have digital copies of both 😉
Sheila, these two paintings feel dreamlike, and I suddenly find myself thinking of when I first listened to the Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band … “somebody spoke and I went into a dream.” : )
Ok, had to put it on and listen. So happy if these brought back happy memories for you Dotty 🙂 I suppose they do have a “Flower Power” feel, LOL. One more listen…
You made “Hot Mess” even more vibrant! Love Day 26’s colors, arrangement, aesthetics. Those swirly blooms are roses for me. The vine, yes, does divide, but if this is a pattern on something, that creative vine would make wonderful sense.
A pattern, Hmm…. Glad you like it Laurelle, thank you 🙂
