Aww, thanks Chandra 😉 Thank you so much for following along 🙂 I can’t resist painting them, happy to oblige! LOL. Hugs to you my Super-talented friend! 🙂
Here’s hoping Katie! 🙂 Actually I usually do really good aft this challenge, it is the January challenge I usually can’t maintain. Sometime around May, I start slowing down. Still having fun though!
Thanks Christine. Confident – WOW 🙂 These have all been 8 x 8. I like the square format. But I am feeling like I would like to go bigger. it’s a good size for daily painting though 🙂
This is my new favourite! That blue vase is perfect amongst the ‘reds & oranges’. Beautiful textures and those ‘daisies’ – such wonderful shapes! This is such a great series of still ‘lifes’ Have a lovely day painting
LOL, thank you Janet 🙂 I started with the idea I would do a glass vase, but I changed my mind. So glad to hear it still works. Happy painting to you as well my friend 😉
The direct simple spareness of flowers and vase, the nuanced variegation of background, the bold take-me-as-I-am of tabletop: love every bit of this, Sheila!
Putting music in my head again today Dotty. (Take me as I am, Faith Hill) 🙂 Sounds like I have a balanced combination. LOL. So glad you like it Dotty 🙂
Sheila, your blog always keeps me in sunflower happiness. Thank you for that. Hugs!

Love your daily flowers! They make me smile.
Aww, thank you Judith 🙂 So nice to hear 🙂
Woo hoo!! It gets easier from here on out. You’ll be on such a roll, you won’t want to stop at the end of the month. 🙂

Sheila, this painting is so beautiful! It is soft and peaceful but energetic at the same time.
Sharon, thank you. The background is softer in person. The colors all blend nicely. Great to hear from you, have fun today!
Yes, it’s half time! It flies so fast! Love the sun flowers!
It does! Especially when you get to see fabulous Carol art each day 🙂
Love the looseness of the wash in the table contrasted with the tighter rendering of the flowers. Makes for an interesting and dynamic composition!
Thank you Laurelle 🙂 I tried to go loose with the flowers too, didn’t work this time. LOL Enjoy 🙂
