I had fun with this, and I like the softer palette. I am starting to like the painting. But I am having a hard time convincing myself that it is good.
Ever have that problem? Hands in the air.

I love the soft texture on the table. Botched the shadow though. Goofed again using white flowers. HELLO! Goofed on the nearly fluorescent green. (I do like it in the splatter.) Seriously thinking of doing the flowers over. I’ll see how I feel about it tomorrow.

Pinwale corduroy tablecloth: perfect! Love its evocative nature, love all the gradations of color in it, love its crisp dark edge.
Corduroy! Oh my, that takes me back to high school. Had to have a pair of cords to be cool. LOL 😉 Well, in my case, the cool never happened. But that was A-OK because I had a huge group of friends that were cool wannabes too 🙂
Still having fun with those textures and trying to remember to use them more often 🙂
I really like the flowers which would make a unique surface design.
