This quick piece was inspired by Carla Sonheim’s recent post. She inspired me to play. Thank you Carla! My only goal with this was to use up some of the leftover “puddles” of color on my palette dishes. Ran out of room for mixing! My brain needed a rest after chasing down a possible computer virus, and fixing site issues.
Amazing how much fun and joy you can make with a couple of left over puddles!!
LOL. Here’s to not cleaning your palette, LOL 🙂 I still have some yellow in a bowl… have to think up something to do with it, ha ha 🙂
Love the naivety of this painting. So cheerful!!!
Thank you Carol. So happy you enjoyed it 🙂 Have fun with your studies and your painting 🙂
This piece is so much fun Sheila – sometimes we just need to play what ever the excuse. I hope this bit of play relieved the stress of dealing with computer problems. Have a great day.!
It sure did Val 🙂 I have more work to do today on the website but it should go smoothly. Knock on wood. Enjoy your day Val, I hope it feels “springy” for you!
You (and Carla) have definitely got the fun going on, and welcome it is! Like how you’ve got the flowers playfully outlined, not SERIOUSLY outlined. Also like the abstracted possibility of light dancing on ocean in the background. Perfect start to my day.
Light dancing on ocean. I will keep that image in mind Dotty! Thanks for stopping by, so glad you enjoy the flowers. I was greeted this morning by your wonderful bookmark. WOW, a mini vacation in my head 🙂
