Had fun with this. Painted the flower details last. Said a prayer I wouldn’t botch it.
I see a few changes I would like to make. The shadow on the vase dissipated more than I had hoped. Need to fill that in a bit so it does not look like an outline. And the bottom right corner is a little wonky. Maybe deepen the negative space between the flowers. Not major issues, and I am happy with how it turned out.
Happy Sunday to you!
So sweet! Love it!!! <3
Thanks so much Karin
Happy painting to you
I really love this and thinks it’s perfect as it is now! I do understand how the one who made a particular art piece always see how it could be taken further:)
Thank you Juana
The what if factor huh? So nice to hear from you, hope you are finding time to create
Happy Sunday to you too, Sheila. Super colour combinations although I agree that the space between the flowers could be deeper. Is that space background or flowers in the back of the bouquet? – that might determine the colour you use. But, as Carol says – let it sit a bit before making changes. Take care.
Thank you Val
I was thinking flowers in the back. But I like the idea of background showing! Thanks
I will think on it today.
Well, I’m loving the shadows, loving the deep midnight blue, loving the upbeat energy coming my way via your art : ) Just the right amount of detail in an otherwise straightforward simplicity of presentation—makes for a perfect visual mantra of how I want to approach my day-to-day living right now. Thank you!
LOL, welcome Dotty
Have fun today!
Love the negative spaces!! Don’t see any outline. Let it rest a while before you make changes.
Will do. Thanks Carol. Happy creating to you!
