Mingus mountain is thirty minutes from our house. I have simplified the forms. That is what I see. How I see them. The shapes, the curves, the contrast. The golden rocks are not always visible, a nice surprise. they really catch the light at sunset. I will share some photos soon. Have to size them in Photoshop for posting.
I had fun with this. Slightly larger for me. It would be fun to do this on a large canvas in acrylic.
I love the work being shared in Leslie Seata’s 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge!
I am also adding friends and favorites to my Pinterest board for the event.
Love the colors and the wide angle in this landscape piece. Would love to see your photos.
I am hoping to share some in the next post Corinne
Sheila, I’m liking the abstract nature of this painting, its lovely reduction into shape, color, and contrast. SO wonderful to have you popping up in my inbox again : )
