The colors are not showing true. the top paddle has more green, the bottom a bit more blue. They look the same to me here. This is the second piece I worked on today. The first just needs more time. I will finish it tomorrow. This was my response to the detail in that. K.I.S.S.
My plan for this post was to include a slide show of the mountains today. But just when I thought I had it all ready, it wasn’t. Again, I will have that for tomorrow. Lots of starts today, without endings. But I did manage to make a delicious chicken soup. From start to finish.
Almost finished with Leslie’s challenge. This time it went by fast.

Love these images. You make the watercolour look very easy! Hate it when you scan your image and the colours are off. Still looks great though!
Thank you Janet 🙂 Sometimes it is easy, sometimes not. But usually fun to work with 🙂
This is fun! It looks like two very strange worlds about to collide. It is frustrating when photos don’t do justice to the work. One more day to go – good luck!
Love that Val! Thank you 🙂
Great piece Sheila! Love it.
Thanks so much Connie, so glad you like it 🙂
Wow, I like the colors just as they are depicted now and the composition is very imaginative, allowing us to create in our own minds what we want to feel/see. Shana Tova!
Thanks so much Laurelle 🙂 Shana tova 🙂
LOVE the abstract quality of this one! And I’ll be over for the chicken soup—can’t wait : )
Warming the tortillas now Dotty!
I really like these… their juxtaposition. I can see the green and blue in upper cactus!!!
Chicken noodle soup ..yummy… will be making my first of the season Monday for our Holiday, Rosh HaShana, New Year!!!
Shana tova Carol! So glad you can see the colors, might be I have looked too long! LOL
One thing I have learned from this challenge is to step back. Sometimes looking back you might even be surprised…Did I do that? Shana Tova, we are having sad days right now, but we have hope that next year we will move forward toward Peace…for us and the world!
Wouldn’t that be wonderful Carol. Sometimes it feels like all we can do is to keep hope alive. And pray. But hope and prayer are strong forces, as it is proven time and time again. I have been pleased with most of my pieces in this challenge. Amazing to say that. Even for the changes I would like to make. Those ideas are leading me on to new work 🙂 So glad we took the journey together Carol! Fun chatting with you at 12 am my time. 🙂
