Feeling warm yet? The day I painted this it was grey and chilly. Warmed me right up. I am having too much fun with the Mingus mountains. I am going to take a drive next month and see what I can see!
Guess I could have added some clouds. But hey, just means I get to paint another one! I darkened the pencil line after the paint dried. I think it is just enough. I have to find that pen! Nope, it wasn’t in my purse.
Hope you are having an awesome weekend!

I really like how you have kept the composition to a minimum. Is such a great image done this way. The colours are really rich.
I would like to do some of these in acrylic, with interesting textures. Hmmm, wonder where I got that Idea. LOL 🙂 But I do like the focus on shape and color.
This is beautiful! So peaceful and serene… Love it! <3
Thanks so much Karin 🙂
Love the minimalism – very effective!
Nice to hear Connie, Thank you 🙂
If looking at something warmed me up this would do it, Sheila! This is nice and simple and the shading on the mountains is great.
LOL, simple was the order of the day Val. Glad you like it, hope your weekend is going well 🙂
