I am so happy that Leslie’s challenge is starting, I have missed you all so much!
I will fill you in on the move soon. Friends from out-of-town are visiting this week, so these first couple of posts will be short. I have not had time to prep, but I have considered themes for about a month. Still undecided. Hoping that will make each day of the painting challenge a surprising adventure!
The hills outside my window are proving to be an ever-changing inspiration. The front range often glows electric golden green. The colors mesmerize.
This is the first I have painted since July 26th. Worthy of the round file perhaps, but boy did it feel good to have a brush in my hand again!
Hi Sheila – Welcome to Arizona!!! Great to be back in touch.
Thanks Connie! I went to Sedona this week, WOW! I thought of your paintings and the bright, warm colors. Arizona Rocks! LOL
I will love hearing about your move. Love your hills and the colors…
So glad Karin, thank you. You are off to a fabulous September start!
Nice to see your post after such a break, Sheila. I really like the texture in the dark blue mountains against the softness of the sky. Good luck this month.
Thanks Val, always so nice to hear from you. Hope your days are filled with creativity and fun!
Yay, you’re back- what a beautiful view is right. Hope all is well with this new chapter in your life, Sheila!
LOL, thanks so much Laurie 🙂 So good to be back. Happy September to you!
I know it’s always so good to get started painting again after a little hiatus! Can’t wait to see what this month brings!
So true Laura 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!
YAY! You’re back! I was hoping the 30in30 would bring your painting back to life and into MY life! I like the visually textural elements of your shadow hills. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
Thank you Dotty, I don’t know what I would do without your posts each day. Always so inspiring, and so often filled with chuckles!
What a wonderful view. Looking forward to more… Good luck on your move..
Thank you Carol 🙂 So happy you are taking part once again 🙂
