One more postcard for the LYA swap. I had lots of fun painting these flowers. Thanks to my Robert Simmons 3/8″ Angle Shader brush. I purchased that and a Winsor Newton #8 round a couple of months ago. I bought from different lines to try them out. I really like them both. They hold their shape well and hold water nicely. Seems like I can paint forever on one load. They have a nice feel to them as well.
Day 23 Revised
I think I have finished yesterday’s flowers. Fixed. They are better. I added some rust to help define them. May have missed the mark. Here is a look at the revisions and a slide show close-up of the flowers.

Aw this is cute I love it! I forgot about the swap argh! Keep going 🙂
Thanks Cindy! You still have time my friend. Until March 12th… http://kateyestudio.com/liberate-your-art-postcard-swap
pretty!
Thank you Lana, have a happy Sunday!
That added rust on yesterday’s piece really pops the blossoms.
Someone will be very lucky to get the flower postcards. Thank you for mentioning the Liberate Your Art post card swap. I am in, too!
Yay! Hand in the air for an extra swap 🙂
So much to see here. The blues with the greens on the stems, the water line, and of course the way you handle the pinks and yellows. Nice, Sheila!
Thanks Laurie! Oh I sure do love the birds you did yesterday! Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us today 🙂
Once again, I especially love the visual pull of the table and the shadow from the vase. Love that you set up a slide-show close-up of your revision of day 23; well done—both the revision and the slide show! What a great tool for showing revision. My hat is off to you.
So glad you like it Dotty 🙂 Doing those little animations is fun for me. Glad it is fun for you too 🙂
They will make lovely postcards. Haven’t chosen mine yet. Have you heard of Rosemary Brushes, from UK… don’t know US prices but may be good to compare. Handmade . I just ordered some brushes… even with shipping cheaper than same quality here.

Oh you had to show me that didn’t you Carol! Those travel brushes look so fun. Lot’s of goodies there! I will put you down for an extra swap if you are interested 🙂 Thanks for sharing the link!
I love the first one so much! Hope I get chosen to receive one!
Well, if not, I have you name on the extra swap list 🙂 (Maybe you will end up with two!)
