Keeping it small for the weekend. I need to work on wedding invites for a client. The foreground is not showing true to life. It is a deep rust. The two colors, rust and brick-red, are much closer in value on paper.

You made it through Sheila. I rarely go on Google so have been awful about not keeping up. A blog? That isn’t happening. Hugs to you and your wonderful work.
So nice to hear from you Carol.Hope all is well in Albuquerque!
Beautiful!
Thank you Lana 🙂
Beautiful Sheila – this painting makes me smile on this dreary rainy Sunday!!
I am glad JJ! Hope the rain lets up soon 🙂
I am wondering if you have a goal in mind for this challenge – other than trying the mineral paper. The blue pot is a nice contrast. Good luck with wedding invites.
Thank you Val 🙂 I had several ideas, but for now, no. Just hoping for a somewhat unified look at the end of the month.
Sheila, appreciated your saying you were keeping it small for the weekend. Love hearing about process, including how to weave the creative process in with other daily activities. Thanks!
Love your small “prayers” Dotty… inspirational 🙂
Love your color variations!!! Hats off on such a small format!!!
Thank you Carol :0 I found some scraps, and thought they would be fun to use.
