I managed to finish the small script letters. They were easier than I anticipated, and I am pleased as punch that some of my strokes were spot on perfect. Shazam!
The larger type styles turned out to be more difficult. More stokes involved, and more chances to goof. I think a light color on the type would look more fresh. But that would also have required a dark outline to make it pop. On 39 words, that seemed daunting!
There are a few areas where the letters and the background are close in value. I can remedy that when I fine-tune my mistakes.
What is better than a sweet treat while working? And of course it has to be GREEN! One of my favorites. A rare indulgence. Kiwi Gummy Candy by Kasugai. Sublime!
Have a fabulous Friday!

Do you have the correct “their” on the first line….there(place) I will hear…..
Thanks for spotting that Ruth!!!! I was not reading as I was painting. It should be “then”. Whew! I can still fix it. Grateful to you!
It looks excellent! Im sending you a HIGH FIVE from the future haha! You should get it in about 8 hours so hold your hand up! hehe! You are so talented 🙂
High five from the future. Crack me up Cindy. Reminds me of the Linda Hamilton line in Terminator. “Are telling me your from the future!?”
Thanks for making me laugh, and for the well wishes!
I just love it, Sheila….
Thank you Laurie 🙂
Perfect and a wonderful treat both of them.
Early Christmas stocking stuffer, Stuff? Hmmm… Yum 🙂 I am just so glad I am getting it done Lana 🙂
I looked at the painting first and couldn’t figure out what the saying was all about; then I read your text and realized that I hadn’t seen the light colored words – lol. Candy and painting look good together!
Duh, I should have posted the entire scripture. You will be able to see it in the next post 🙂 Enjoy your day Val 🙂
FYI, today’s post is the third in a row that has automatically fed to my email as it should—woo hoo! Love your pairing of candy and painting! And, lovely forward motion with your painting—happy fine tuning to you : )
Glad to hear it Dotty 🙂 Happy exploring to you!
