This was painted for the September challenge. One of my “extras”. Adding a bit of sun to my chilly day, and hopefully to your day as well.
Still working on several acrylic pieces. And researching ideas for a small fabric collection I am working on. These are sketches of design elements I like, found in The Grammar Of Ornament.

Gathering Ideas, sketches for pattern design.
Has anyone else started watching Christmas movies? I know, I am demented. But I have to do something to distract myself while I wait for the last season of Downton Abbey.
Happy creating everyone!

I’ve been loving the fall colors all around me…your sunflowers fit right in…a delightful treat for the eyes.
Thank you Karin. Those golds and red, oranges…. the last bit of green, all so wonderful to see
Beautiful work
Thank you Jill!
Haha Thanks for the sunshine Sheila! It brightened up my day
As for watching christmas movies.. no I haven’t.. my son has this massive library of DVD’s and because I lived on the ocean for so long I have a LOT of catching up to do.. so every afternoon, if I’m not designing, I go downstairs and snuggle under a mound of blankets and watch a DVD. It’s been cold and foggy here this week.
Oh that sounds awesome Sylvie! My good friend has a huge collection as well, sometimes I borrow a movie. One reason I love house sitting for her… I can catch up on movies! It has been cold here too. Which is a nice change from the triple digit heat. Enjoy my friend!
Have you managed to retrieve your lost blogs? I like your little sketches and it will be interesting to see your finished fabric design – take care.
Not yet Val, thanks for asking. But I am still hopeful
Hope you are happily creating
