I forgot to stop and scan, so this starts about half way through the process. This is the card I spoke about yesterday, thought it was going in the wrong direction, to the land of yuck. I wanted to start something new, but I forced myself to try to salvage it. I may have gone to far, added too much. I am happy with it. What do you think?
I saw a little fish at the bottom, so I added another, didn’t want it to be lonely. Then I saw the tail of another, on the left side.
Join in the fun! My friend Sea Dean has invited all challenge participants to also post their daily paintings on her blog. She is giving prizes to the most active artist, AND to the most active voter. You can vote for three artists each day. That includes me, of course.
Leslie Saeta is the host of the painting challenge. Check out her site for a fabulous art show!
My Pinterest board for the event is filling fast! I am a couple of days behind and already there are 170 amazing paintings pinned. (Wish I had time to pin them all.)
Snow is finally gone! It’s official. Snow was on the ground for five days! Remember that the next time you are on Jeopardy! Might be the Daily Double!
I like it. The circles are like googly eyes, there seems to be a king google with a top hat and I love spots in paintings. The birds just finish it off.
I love that you see all that Sea! I am going to look for the top hat now! I thought googly too… but I wanted to see if anyone else picked up on it. 😉
How fun to add more fish because you saw one. It’s always cool to find things in your work
Thanks CheyAnne 🙂
I like the fish too….and when you mentioned the fish I started to see all kinds of underwater activity … seaweed, jellyfish, urchins and then I thought I better stop looking at this… because it kind of draws you in and you can’t stop finding things. So fun.:)
That is so nice to hear. That happened to me too. I added the stripes, and then I started seeing other creatures. Glad you like it Karin 🙂
Sheila,
I love how the animation works – what a fun painting!!!
Connie
So glad you like it Connie 🙂
I loved the energy in this one, and the fish!
Thanks Sandra!
Sea Dean is so good about generating action on her site and upping her stats and sales: very inventive of her to trailer onto Leslie. Why not???? This is the best of the abstracts you have posted so far. I love the colors as well. Keep on!
She is Carol. I just don’t think of things like that. So glad you like this 🙂
It just makes sense to me Carol. I like to be helpful and spend a large portion of my day helping other artists with their marketing. Besides I prefer to give everyone a chance at the top spot by rotating my thumbnails, especially now there are so many artists competing for that top spot over at Leslie’s. Besides I have prizes.
I really like this one Sheila. Did you do something to darken it at the end or is that just the exposure? (Y)
Just the exposure, I noticed that too after the animation was done. It was late, so I left it alone. :-/
Oooo! This is very different, Sheila. I like what you have done and the fish were a wonderful finishing touch. It invokes the feeling of a fantasy world at the bottom of the sea.
Thank you Pam. I almost thought about wiping that out…
lovely, as usual 🙂
Thank you Cindy 🙂
