By taking the time to stop and appreciate who you are
and what you’ve achieved – and perhaps learned
through a few mistakes, stumbles and losses –
you actually can enhance everything about you.
Self-acknowledgment and appreciation
are what give you the insights and awareness
to move forward
toward higher goals and accomplishments.

The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.

At the start of the challenge, I did not have a theme in mind. I joked about doing a series of “series”. It actually has worked out that way. I have five, possibly six, collections.
Like so many challenge participants, I was beginning to feel producing a painting a day was a daunting task. This weekend, for some reason, I was on a roll. I finished four pieces. I work small, and a couple of them were fairly simple. That helped.
I am still painting each day, to finish up the series I have started. But oh what a relief it is, to have a bit of breathing room. Whew!

I particularly like this one. I see it as the pattern for a nice breezy summer dress.
Cool idea Sea 🙂
OH I love the dots! I think this challenge has really opened up your creativity!
It is so funny Carol, I had no plan in the beginning. Maybe that is why huh? One thing led to another. And the encouragement from you all spurred me on. Thanks so much Carol 🙂
I love how this collection has evolved, Sheila. This is so cheerful and care free. Nice that you are ahead on the last leg of the challenge! Me too. I painted four possible keepers this morning. I want to keep up the momentum, but also know there are other things in my life that could use some focus after a month of neglect. Happy Happy Creating!
Thanks so much Sandy. I know I need to focus on other areas as well. So I am glad to have a few started. I now have another five pieces, so I am off to a good start for next month 🙂 Wow four! you are rockin’!
Gorgeous and well done on getting some breathing space, not long now!
Aww thanks Rolina 🙂
I can’t believe this challenge is almost done. This one is nice as usual and thanks for sharing the quotes. I especially like the one from Picasso.
Me too Jiyoung! I have so enjoyed seeing your work each day! So glad you enjoyed the quotes as well. Picasso usually had something interesting to say. I like that thought 🙂
Very vibrant! You’re almost done!:)
Thanks Jen 🙂
Totally love these.
Cool! Thank you Susan 🙂 Hope you are staying safe and warm!
So bright and colorful – lucky you to have a bit of breathing space – only 3 more days!
Hard to believe we are so close 🙂 I think the third week is the hardest.
Sheila,
Your series has evolved nicely. Today’s painting looks like fabric – very cool.
Glad you like it Connie 🙂
Nice one, and I love the quotes.
Thanks April 🙂
