We are just an advanced breed of monkeys
on a minor planet of a very average star.
But we can understand the Universe.
That makes us something very special.

I am just a child who has never grown up.
I still keep asking these ‘how’ and ‘why’ questions.
Occasionally, I find an answer.

I had a name for this. Not very original. Karin Naylor mentioned it in her comment on my piece yesterday. These shapes may not be very original either. I found a couple of small paintings I did last year, and I have a feeling I saw something I liked, and tried to learn how to recreate it.
These are fun though. I have a feeling there will be more.

I like the colors
Thank you April 🙂
Sheila,
I love the combination of styles and colors you have used here. The sense of space is very Hawking-esque. Very nice!
Thank you Connie 🙂
So cool…These remind me more of jelly fish in the ocean… Love the bright yellow color. I think this one is my favorite so far.
The ocean is still an undiscovered territory, I like that Karin 🙂
I love the colors in this, Sheila. Like the contrast of the yellow and purple. To me it looks like looking up at mushrooms in space! I hope you are not offended! I’m way too literal.
Not offended Pam, love hearing your ideas 🙂
This has a whimsical feel. I don’t know what it is, but I like it. I also love your quotes. Stephen Hawking is a fav. I know we are just a bunch of monkeys, but I don’t understand the universe, do you?
Not really, but I love Star Trek.. Does that count for anything Sandy? ha ha
