I added the green after doing the bud. I should have created a multi-toned background first, and then painted over it. That would have added some depth. An additional color within the bud would have added depth as well. There are thick strokes in this, texture that didn’t transfer in the scan. Just a bit of play really, and it is fun in the frame. Hmm, maybe I will paint the frame green too.

This is great. I want to pick it up and blow on it like a dandelion. It looks like it is ready to float into the world.
Wow thank you Lillian 🙂 I wasn’t quite sure about this one… so glad you like it 🙂
Hi Sheila, I love this one. The simplicity, the white leading you in and the green stopping you leave the edge. If you’re going to paint the frame I’d make it white.
I’m not sure if I told you but there is no way to share your blog to FB. There is a LIKE button but no share. Can you change it under settings?
Thanks Sea, Didn’t think about white. You did tell me, I haven’t figured it out yet. I will keep trying 🙂
Wow this is bright and cheerful and I think a green frame would be nice too
Cool, glad you like it CheyAnne 🙂
Sheila,
I really like your color combination. It pops!
🙂 Thanks Connie!
These colors are so happy! I think the green frame would look great, too.
So glad Pam. Cool… green it is 🙂
