Postcard Preference

Time for me to decide which postcard I will send to the Visual Aids 17th ANNUAL POSTCARDS FROM THE EDGE exhibition.  I need your help, because I have six favorites and I can only send one card.

I just finished these two. They may seem totally unrelated. I have wanted to paint a tree in our neighbors back yard. It just glows all day long. It is taller than the rest of the trees, and it even seems to glow when the sky is grey and the sun is hidden.

I spoke with a friend in Montana the same day I painted this tree. It was snowing sideways, the winds were so strong. I started this next one as an abstract, trying to use some leftover paint. Obviously blustery was on my mind.

I actually think I like it better upside down. What do you think? I can see a hint of tall mountains, maybe a lake in the distance.

Here they all are together. No particular order.

If you have time, let me know in the comments which you like best.

There is so much for me to be thankful for. I hope for you as well. I know I am thankful for all of you who follow my blog, and who take the time to comment. Your participation is a true blessing!

Happy Thanksgiving!

God Bless!

I think the tree would make a great Thanksgiving or Autumn card but, my personal favorite is the red one. it would make a great B.D. card or a happy New Year card.
good luck with which ever one you send.

They are all so cool! I scrolled up and down the page several times to see which one caught my eye the most, and it was the third one down on the right…the red and green with the black squiggles. I would say that would be my vote, but it’s definitely very hard to choose.

Thank you Karin for your judicious contemplation! That one looks the most “New York” to me. But I think I forgot to mention that is where the exhibit is taking place. (thanks for the hard to choose BTW)
