If you look closely, you can see the current flowing in this. While it was drying, I thought it was probably going to be a do over. I thought the colors would merge and just be blah. Yupo is such a surprise!
Looking at it now, reminds me of Chihuly.
Sea Dean invited me to a blog hop. She is a fabulous artist who is taking Leslie Saeta’s 30 paintings in 30 days challenge with me. I have been an admirer of hers for a while and I am so honored that she thought of me. I hope you will take a look at her blog post here. I will continue the hop next week, stay tuned!
I like the effect you get with watercolour & guache on Yupo paper, it really does work well for an aquatic theme.
Thank you Donna 🙂 I did some experimenting with red and blue… but most of those flopped 🙁 ha ha
Aptly titled. Before I saw the title I thought of an island reef in the South Pacific seen from above. Quite a lovely piece.
I am really pleased with how it turned out. So glad you like it too Susan 🙂
This reminds me of “starry starry night!”
WOW, thank you Jim. That is one of my all time favorites of his.
