A lot of nuthin’ much going on here today. I have painted a day ahead for most of this challenge. I thought yesterdays painting was done and posted, but it wasn’t.  Duh.

Today has been a Donna Summer day. Been working hard for the money. I am sharing most of the rejects from today. These are the best of the worst.

Guess I should cut myself some slack. I went to the drive in last night,  double feature. Then I came home and worked for a couple of hours. We saw Lone Survivor

God Bless our American servicemen and women.

Lack of sleep is obviously detrimental to my creativity. Still, I think each of these has something that is redeemable. And I had fun, so not a total loss.  All practice is good practice!

Enjoy!

    Hey There Sheila!!

When I first looked at the top two paintings, I immediately liked them… then I read your entry … I still like them!! 🙂 🙂

I think they have pretty shapes and pretty colors.

Oh my gosh!! I haven’t heard the name Donna Summer in a LONG time! Boy oh boy … did my husband and I ever DANCE to her songs back in the day!!!

A drive in? With your car? I don’t believe we have any working ones out here. I remember long ago that was the thing to do …watch a movie at the drive in!!

And Here! Here! on that one : All practice is good practice!

Have an awesome day! Enjoy day #30!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Joan so glad you like them 🙂 We have three drive ins I think. There is one in San Diego, might be two. And there are two in the LA region. The one we go to has three screens. There are no speakers anymore though. They broadcast over the radio. It is always a double feature, and in the summer they play the first movie as an encore. There are four food places right next door, so we always stop and grab dinner. There are always a lot of families there. I am glad to know they are keeping the drive in alive!

      Happy painting to you Joan!
