I love making gingerbread cookies this time of year. I usually just make them small and round, bite size. And I am admitting right here for you all – I buy ready-made dough. First I slice the roll as directed. I then cut the slices in half, and then in half again. That way you get more cookies! I roll them between my palms, into little balls. Gingerbread can take me right back to those carefree days of childhood.
