Blackbird, blackbird, what do you see?
Blackbird, blackbird, are you watching me?
Blackbird, blackbird, sitting so high.
Oh how I wish, I too, could fly.

I am so pleased with how this turned out. I had planned on doing a solid black silhouette, but the first wash took me in another direction. This is my first little bird. I like him so much, I am going to have a hard time gifting him for the Birthday postcard swap.
Hope you are having a super day!
great job and love your poem, thanks for sending it to me. Appreciate.
Jackie I am so glad you like it 🙂 I hope you are having a wonderful birthday month! Enjoy!
Looks good, I get many huge blackbirds visiting me garden and I can see them from my glass room office. I shall try to photograph some and sent the pictures along.
Thank you! That would be great! Have an awesome day tomorrow:)
Now I know where “Brown Bear Brown Bear What do you see” came from!
You have a lovely bird, Sheila!
You make me laugh Lucy! Obviously I did not get that idea first then. I don’t have kids… is that a book? I bet it is a fun one to read. So glad you like my bird 🙂 Be well my friend, and enjoy those little people you live with 🙂
