Fall, leaves, fall
Fall, leaves, fall; die, flowers, away;
Lengthen night and shorten day;
Every leaf speaks bliss to me
Fluttering from the autumn tree.
I shall smile when wreaths of snow
Blossom where the rose should grow;
I shall sing when night’s decay
Ushers in a drearier day.
Lengthen night and shorten day;
Every leaf speaks bliss to me
Fluttering from the autumn tree.
I shall smile when wreaths of snow
Blossom where the rose should grow;
I shall sing when night’s decay
Ushers in a drearier day.

Birthday postcard, on its way to Canada.
Oh my, Sheila!
This leaf looks so very REAL. Beautiful job!
I wonder what this would look like on fabric using the very same leaf and just positioning it several ways in a random fashion as well as using different sizes of it. I bet it would look beautiful.
Have a wonderful week.
Joan
Oh my Joan… I had that same thought…..
