I got a wild hair, and I am prepping some canvas panels for Leslie Saeta’s September 30 in 30 challenge. I was going to do all watercolor, but I am going to switch it up. I came across a really cool color combo. And it is calling to me. Turquoise, sand, a little coffee and cream, touch of navy. Perfect day at the beach.
We are not having one of those days today though. It feels like I am in the deep south, so hot and muggy. And we’ve got clouds in the Inland Empire. BELIEVE IT OR NOT. BIG, DARK, ominous clouds. So far no rain, and …it is getting brighter, but right above the house is a dark cloud. So I am wishing for rain. Crossing my fingers and my toes.
Rain, rain, come and play,
Blue sky can come back some other day!
Hi Sheila love the colour. Over here in England as children we used to say Rain Rain Go away come on Mothers washing Day!!
That is cute Pauline! I always feel a tad guilty wishing for rain. Here in So. Cal. It often leads to flooding. I sure don’t wish that on anybody 🙂
Those colors sound great together! I need to get my canvases prepped too! Yikes! The September 1st is just around the corner.
(Really? You want rain. Not me, cuz I know we will be having it for a very long time! I’m going to miss summer! We live just south east of Seattle :O)
Have a fun weekend! Good luck on September 1st!!!
We get so little rain here, it is always a welcome sight 🙂 Good luck to you as well Joan – I can’t wait to see everyone’s work!
